Reservations and Payments

To confirm your booking, 100% payment  of the total tour cost is required  at the time of booking.

Booking and cancellation conditions:

The following conditions apply to the services offered by  Selva Negra Turismo , differentiating between  regular tours  (short duration) and  personalized tours  (exclusive or tailor-made).

Regular or standard tours

They include short guided tours, usually one to two hours long, offered privately to families or groups of friends, as well as in a shared format with other participants.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the tour: 90%  of the amount paid  will be refunded  .
  • Cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the start of the tour: 50%  of the amount paid  will be refunded  .
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour or in case of no-show:  no refund will be issued.

Customized tours

For personalized tours, exclusive trips, or tailor-made programs, the following conditions apply:

  • Up to 30 days before the start of the tour:  free cancellation and full refund of the amount paid.
  • Between 29 and 15 days before the start of the tour: 50% of the total amount  will be retained   as a cancellation fee, with the  remaining 50% being refunded  .
  • In the 14 days prior to the start of the tour or in case of no-show:  no refund will be given , as the services (guides, transport and reservations with third parties) will have been confirmed and paid for in advance.

Full payment  must be made at least 30 days before the start of the tour  to keep the booking confirmed.

Cancellations by the agency

If  Selva Negra Turismo  has to cancel a tour due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather conditions, government restrictions or force majeure), the client may choose between  rescheduling the tour  or a  full refund  of the amount paid.

These conditions apply automatically to all contracted services, unless another policy has been expressly agreed upon in writing.

Travel Insurance

It is strongly recommended that all travelers have travel insurance that covers cancellations, disruptions, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.

Limitation of Liability

Selva Negra Turismo is not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, delays or changes in the itinerary caused by external factors such as adverse weather conditions, strikes, technical failures or actions of third parties.

The agency acts exclusively as an intermediary between the client and the service providers (accommodation, transport, guides, etc.), in accordance with  § 651a of the German Civil Code (BGB)  on the liability of tour operators.

Sustainability and Respect for the Environment

All travelers must adhere to the rules of  sustainable tourism  and respect the flora, fauna and cultural heritage of the Black Forest.

Participants are expected to respect local customs and traditions, in accordance with the  guidelines of the German Association for Sustainable Tourism (forum anders reisen eV) .

Health and Safety

Travelers are responsible for complying with the health and safety recommendations issued by the German authorities and the  Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus (DZT) .

The agency must be notified in advance of any relevant medical condition that may affect participation in the trip.

Documentation

  • Travelers must ensure they have a  valid ID card or passport  to enter Germany.
  • It is recommended to have a  European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)  for medical assistance in Germany.
  • Although not mandatory, it is advisable to purchase  additional travel insurance  that covers medical expenses not covered by the TSE, cancellations or repatriation.

It is recommended to check for any updates to entry requirements from official sources before traveling.

Group Size and Guides

The maximum group size will be  20 people  to ensure a high-quality experience and compliance with local regulations.

Our guides are selected for their knowledge and experience, and are trained to ensure safety and assistance during the tour.

Modifications by the Agency

Selva Negra Turismo reserves the right to modify itineraries or replace services with alternatives of similar quality in case of unforeseen circumstances or  force majeure  (as stipulated in  Article 651j BGB ).

Complaints and Claims

Any complaints should be reported to the agency during the trip to allow for an immediate solution.

If the complaint is not resolved at the time, the traveler may submit a formal written complaint within  14 days of the trip , in accordance with German consumer regulations ( § 651d BGB ).
